Sunday, 31st May – GOTY #4 Alf Perry Medal
Max Delahunty‑James topped the leaderboard with a nett 64. Three players followed on nett 66, with Shivantha Thambirajah taking second place and Kevin Webb third on countback.
Saturday, 30th May – Gertrude Beer
Our annual 36‑hole Stableford once again produced a closely‑fought contest. Jane Jones (JJ) finished with a total of 74 points, two ahead of Catrin Roberts and Camilla Mott on 72.
Monday, 25th May – George Simon Trophy Mixed Aggregate
A strong field of 14 pairs took part in the George Simon Trophy on the final Bank Holiday of May. Guy Williams and Julie Robinson finished with 69 points, winning on countback from Simon and Jane Jones, who also had 69 points. Keith Stinson and Sue Choularton placed third with 65 points.
A special mention to Deborah Guillon, who recorded her first ever hole‑in‑one on the 2nd.
Saturday, 23rd May – GOTY #3 Pachesham Cup
Ben Hart led the field with 42 points, winning on countback from Kalim Nixon, also on 42. Ian Larter followed just one point behind with 41.
Wednesday, 20th May – Thompson Cups 4BBB
Penny Harrison and Jenny Tracey won the Thompson Cups with 44 points. Second place this year went to Sylvia Kempsell and Jane Avenell with 42 points.
Sunday, 17th May – Greenkeepers Revenge
Our first ever Greenkeepers’ Revenge proved hugely popular, with members thoroughly enjoying the day and embracing the creative challenges set out on the course by Gavin and the whole team.
The winning team was Alistair Aird, Joe McHugh, Kalim Nixon and Nick Pratt with a score of 57. They were followed by Alex Carter, Scott Glover, Donovan Reid and Callum Springford on 58, and Ken Bridgeman, Vince Corner, David Napier and John Pearson in third place with a score of 59.

Saturday, 16th May - Coronation Foursomes
Jasmine Kim and Catrin Roberts won the Coronation Foursomes with 38 points, finishing one ahead of Penny Harrison and Camilla Mott on 37. Jasmine and Catrin will now go on to play the regional qualifier at Haywards Heath on 25th August.

Monday, 4th May – Tom Cottrell Salver
Fourteen pairs competed in the Tom Cottrell Salver on the first May Bank Holiday. Sue Choularton and Keith Stinson won with 65 on countback from Guy Williams and Catrin Roberts. Deborah Guillon and Nic May finished third with a nett 67.
Sunday, 3rd May – GOTY #2 Ye Olde Wooden Putter
Stephen Longhurst won Ye Olde Wooden Putter with a two‑round nett total of 132 (‑10). Jonathan Cook finished second on countback from Jake Portch. The event is one of the key 36‑hole competitions in the men’s calendar and also serves as the qualifier for the Edwards Cup Scratch knockout.
Saturday, 2nd May – LGOY #3 Spring Meeting
Jane van Egmond won the Spring Meeting with a nett 66 and also took the Best Bronze Gross Ellis Cup with a gross 96. In the Silver Division, the Silver Scratch Trophy was won by Catrin Roberts with a gross 84. The Nett prizes were awarded to Jenny Tracey, who won the Northcott Cup (Silver Nett) with a nett 75, and to Sue Wakerley, who took the Thorncroft Cup (Bronze Nett) with a nett 77.
