Monday, 27th April - Fleming Foursomes
Jane and Steve Northeast reached the final of the knockout competition and went on to win the title for the third time.
26th April – GOTY #1 Holmden Cup
The Holmden Cup provided two excellent rounds of early-season golf.
12th April: David Napier won Round 1 with a nett 62, ahead of Ian Owen with a nett 68.
26th April: Damien Gray won Round 2 with a nett 68, ahead of Roger Singleton and Neale Higgs, who both returned nett 69s.
GOTY 1: Across the two rounds, Steve Northeast produced the best combined performance to win the Holmden Cup Eclectic with a nett 66, one shot ahead of Damien Gray and two ahead of Neale Higgs.
25th April – LGOY #2 Nancy Manson
The second Ladies Golfer of the Year event of the season, the Nancy Manson, was won by Kinga with 41 points, followed by Kathy on 39 and Lorna on 37.
Sunday, 19th April – Surrey Women’s Golf: Hicks Trophy
Leatherhead enjoyed success in the Hicks Trophy, recording a 3–2 victory over Burhill. The result secures the club’s place in the main Hicks Trophy competition for 2026, with Burhill moving into the Hicks Plate.
Saturday, 11th April – LGOY #1 Vincent Cup
The first Ladies Golfer of the Year event, the Vincent Cup, produced a close finish. Camilla claimed victory with 37 points, one ahead of Jane Northeast, while Jenny secured third place on countback from Lorna.
Wednesday, 8th April - Centenary Bowl:
Leatherhead recorded a 3–2 home win against Croham Hurst in the Centenary Bowl, although the visitors secured the overall points required to progress to the main competition. Leatherhead will now continue in the 2026 Centenary Plate and, having received a first-round bye, the team will face Cuddington in Round 2.
6th April – D’Aguilar Cup (Mixed Foursomes)
A strong field of 12 pairs competed for the D’Aguilar Cup on Easter Monday. Ed and Jane van Egmond retained the trophy with 40 points, finishing ahead of Simon and Jane Jones on 37 points, with Steve and Jane Northeast in third place.
