30th July 2025 Charlie Mist Midweek – Medal
A midweek field of 27 ended the month dualling in a medal round for the Charlie Mist Trophy. The winner was Connor Crompton with a 3 under round of nett 68, beating Tim Fry by one shot with a nett 69 and Richard Oozerally a further shot back and on countback with a nett 70 in third place from our Competition Secretary Tim Smith in fourh with a nett 70.

26th July 2025 Men’s Cawley Challenge Cup - Stableford
A good field of 55 entered the Men’s Cawley Challenge Cup (a competition I would still like to win). The scores on the day being very good.with a very impressive 5 under his handicap (12), the competition was won by Ben Klinger with 43 points, from a similar impressive 4 under his handicap (10) Tierran Ostley and a further great score of 41 points from Dimitri Lazarou in third place. There will be some cuts coming from that top three.
20th July 2025 GOTY 5 / MBC Men’s George Simon Tray – Stableford
Another strong field of 71 for a GOTY competition tackled the Men’s Geroge Simon Tray. The winner was our Gold Champion, Steve “The Beast” Northeast continuing a strong month with a 4 under handicap accumulating 42 points playing of (5). Second place went to Richard Oozerally, 4 points back with 38 points on countback, from Willy Hughes in third place on 38 points on countback, with Ray Irwin in fourth place on 38 points.
16th July Jim White Trophy - Medal
A midweek field of 38 battled it out for the Jim White Trophy. The winner was Richard Oozerally (20) with a 3 under round of nett 68 on countback, beating Alex Curry playing off a handicap of 4 into second place with a nett 68. Third place was David Sparkes (32) with a nett 70 on countback from T J Cha (10) on a nett 70.
5th July GOTY 4 Brian Spencer Jug Medal
A strong field of 71 for a GOTY competition tackled the Brian Spencer Jug (probably one of the club’s best trophies). The winner was Michael Yeomans with a 5 under his handicap (24) on a nett 67, from Shivantha Thambirajah in second place with a 3 under his handicap (21) on a nett 69 on countback, from Nick Taylor in third with a 2 under his handicap (5) on a nett 69 on countback and Steve Conlon in fourh with a 2 under his handicap (14) on a nett 69 on countback. Some great scores with the top 8 all playing under their handicaps.
