Captain and Pro Challenge

In the last Captain and pro challenge match, the Captain and Pro came out winners 2&1 against Martain Nelmes and Steve Tucker.

Letherhed Cup

The biannual match of Committee and Past Captains v The members was an extremely close fought battle with The committee and Past Captains coming out winners with the match coming down to the last match and the win being secured by Jenny Tracey and Sue Choularton. Thanks to Jack Law for captaining and organising the members side and Keith Stinson the Committee etc. side. Well done to all who took part and it was another great afternoon on the Patio!

John Ling Final

The Vets team managed to go one better than last year and lifted the John Ling trophy with a 3&2 win against our local rivals and friends from Tyrrells Wood in the final of the John Ling Trophy which this year was entered by 70 clubs in Surrey. A HUGE thanks not only to the winning team members but the whole John Ling Squad for their efforts over the year.

Susan Wakerley wins the Flag competition

At the end of the season a Medal round also involves the traditional flag pictured with Jenny and Sue. Players add their playing handicap to the 72 par and see how far they get before going over their total. Sue was the furthest placing the flag in the hole on the 18th getting a nett 72. Well done Sue.

International Team wins Ladies World Cup.

This year the World Cup was integrated into our stableford competition as numbers were depleted due to many travelling various parts of the World.  The international team won by a massive 20 point difference. Some members of the international team shown below:-

The Thomson Cups

The Thomson Cups a 4BBB stableford competition was won this year by Lorna Dolinska and Sylvia Kempsell. Well done ladies.
