A cold but dry Saturday 27 April Camilla Mott was announced winner with 36 points. It was a very close competition with only 1 point between each of the following places.
Out of interest last year the competition was played in wet conditions and “carry only” so some improvement on weather!
Congratulations to Jack Law and David Arrow on winning the Men’s Finke cup with a greensomes score of 45 points! In second place were Guy Williams and Simon Jones with 42 point and George Ashwell and Alex Rhodes third with 40 points. Thanks to all 52 who took part and I believe thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The women’s winter Red Cross Eclectic finished at the end of March with Jane Northeast coming top of the field.
Nine intrepid pairs took part in the first mixed competition of the year in the D’Aguilar Cup Mixed Foursomes. Congratulations to Camilla Mott and Keith Stinson who won, with Jane and Simon Jones a close second, and Sylvia Kempsell and Mervyn Wynyard third on Countback. Well done all for battling through on wet and muddy conditions!
