Congratulations to Luke Rogers who won the men's Ye Wooden Putter 36 hole medal competition last Sunday with a nett score of 139 (68+71). Luke finished one stroke ahead of runner-up Luke Davies in 140 (75+65).
The ladies' Spring Meeting on Saturday saw four trophies handed out, with the top prize of the Spring Scratch Trophy going to Jane Northeast, with a gross score of 87. On a day of tough conditions, the Northcote Challenge Cup for the best nett score in the silver division (18.4 WHI and below) went to Catrin Roberts with a nett 78. The bronze division winners of the Ellis Cup and Thorncroft Challenge Trophy were Kathy Bellwood and Jenny Tracey.
Fresh from their D'Auguliar Cup win in April, Lorna Dolinska and Luke Davies jointly picked up more silverware on the first bank holiday in May. They won the Tom Cottrell Salver, which is a mixed Greensomes Medal competition, with a score of 63. Runners up were Ed and Jane van Egmond, with 66; while Camilla Mott and Keith Stinson were third with 69.
Congratulations to Steve Northeast who recently won the Holmden Cup. This was a two round medal eclectic competition, Steve's winning nett score was 65.
