Turfing work underway on the 11th

Golfers who braved the Christmas fairways on Wednesday December 21st were pleased to see greenkeeper Shaun hard at work re-turfing the area on the top right-hand-side of the 11th hole. The course was looking great for the time of year, and this work is definitely an added bonus. A big thank-you is due to Paul and his team for transforming the course this year.

Festive fayre and fun at Yuletide

Around fourty guests and members enjoyed a wonderful Yuletide meal at the club on Sunday December 18th. The lingering snow and ice meant there was no golf before our food, but a good time was had by all.

For President Nick Taylor, there was the added bonus of a special presentation of a new club badge. Many people moved to the main bar afterwards to watch a thrilling World Cup final together, to complete a memorable afternoon.
